Comments:
I acquired this saw with a bunch of other woodworking machines from a closed down pine furniture manufacturing company in Shaftsbury,Vt.The place had been closed down for at least fifteen years.A
section of the roof had fallen down and parts of the shop was exposed to all kinds of bad new england weather. The top wheel had to be removed to get the saw out of the building as the saw stands at 7 foot 10 inches and the first floor ceiling was only 7 foot 6 inches. The saw has been converted from a flat belt line shaft machine to a double vee belt electric motor drive. The table is 44" wide by 38" deep, the wheels are wood rim with tube spokes. The guides have been upgraded to carter style guides and i also found the old orginal guides on the second floor. The saw is in very good useable condition.
