I purchased this saw at an auction in Muncie Indiana in 1987 for about $375. It was used in the manufacture of some of the early aluminium housetrailers. It was in good working order when I got it. During hurricane Isabel, I had about 17" of salt water in my shop. The base and original motor got a saltwater bath. A motorshop saved the motor and I am in the process of repainting the machine. For the next hurricane, all of my machines will be hoisted well above the hurricane Isabel water level.
