Source=Owner's submission. Owner's notes: I got this lathe on a "horse trade" for a couple tool boxes. The lathe I have been doing some digging online and figured out that the lathes made by Atlas Tool were built around 1937; mine was a light blue in color before I used electrolysis (per Keith Rucker's You tube video). I am in the process of scraping the ways of any rust that may be left by using way oil and a single edge razor blade in a holder. After tearing it down I found the main spindle needed some work done to it; in two places it was worn down 10 thousandths of an inch and in the middle where a set screw came loose I had that spray welded to get everything back to specs. I am just currently waiting on the upper pulley shaft to come back as the original is bent on one end & I brought that to another machine shop for getting a new one made.
