Source=Owner's submission. Owner's notes: Starting in April 1953 and extending thru Sept. of 1956 a System whereby each Machine was numbered 0000001,0000002 etc. Machine Serial Numbers in this Group can not be identified by the Numbers, since the majority of the current model machines were introduced, it is safe to assume that the Specific model is the current one.
The current Serial Number System began in Oct. of 1956 that designates the type machine in the first 2 digits. Example: And the first 20 inch drill press using this system, NO. 22-0001.
