Owner's notes: This is a Delta No. 37-205 6” jointer, serial number 44-1338, mounted on the original No. 667 cast iron stand with the “Delta Milwaukee” round badge. It’s powered by a 1/2 HP Marathon-built motor (Model FC 82A710), dual voltage (115/230V), single phase, running at 1725 RPM. The machine was acquired at local auction in restorable condition; I rewired the motor for 115V operation, cleaned the cast iron surfaces of surface rust, and recalibrated the rear table per the factory manual (P.M. No. 1535, dated 9-15-43). It’s now fully functional and in regular use in my home shop. |
