The company manufactured woodworking and patternmaking vises, including the Abernathy Roller Nut Rapid Acting Vise, from circa 1903 to 1975. A trade press announcement Jan. 1919 stated that the firm had been taken over by C. Christiansen, Chicago, manufacturer of wood bench screws and work benches.
