In 1962, this company bought Skil Corp.'s line of radial arm saw and began manufacturing them. They were sold as the TOPS line of saws. The "Power Tools, Inc." name was noticeably de-emphasized in favor of the TOPS name.

In 1973 the TOPS line was sold to Marvco Tool & Manufacturing, Inc., which, as of 2010, continues to manufacture and sell the line of radial arm saws.

We have seen catalogs showing the TOPS line of saws, but bearing the name of a company such as Construction Machinery Corp. (CMC). We believe that these companies were distributors for Power Tools, Inc.
