Owen Machine Tool Co. incorporated in Aug. 1893, and manufactured milling machines. In 1902 the officers were George Marx, president; Edward Harford, secretary-treasurer; William H. Owen, general manager. Owen was previously associated with Springfield Machine Tool Co. Owen died Aug. 31, 1906. The company sold their plant in 1914, so the firm may have been out of business at that time.
