The company manufactured tool grinders from 1910 to 1925, one of a number of such firms in Milwaukee. It is most remembered as the parent company of wrench manufacturer Blackhawk Manufacturing Co. The company name changed to Blackhawk in 1925, which appears to have been the end of its grinder manufacturing.
