In 1937 Partool Machine Co. of Detroit was established by Ora A. Montgomery to manufacture a large 8-spindle horizontal lathe that was specialized for manufacturing universal joint flanges. It appears this product was not a success as in July 1939 the company's tools and equipment were purchased by N. A. Woodworth Co.

- No patents were ever assigned to this firm. One "Ora A. Montgomery" was granted a patent but it was a fishing-related patent applied for in 1944 and granted in 1949, so it was to a different person of the same name.
