Wadell Equipment Company filed a public registration statement for stock offerings through the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1967, noting roots in the regional New Jersey industrial sector around Clark and Edison. By the early 1980s, the company was active in specialized machining and manufacturing, supporting industrial trade programs. In 1985, Wadell Equipment Co. operated as a subsidiary of Wedco Technology Inc.
