Central Machinery Co. was founded in 1973 by Donald H. Hege, Sr., a former employee of Wysong & Miles. Shortly afterwards he purchased the rights to Wysong & Miles' line of dovetailers, sanders, and mortisers.

Until at least 2010, Central Machinery continued to manufacture some of the Wysong & Miles machines. They also reconditioned old Wysong & Miles machines, and provide parts and service. By 2017 or '18 the phone was disconnected. Parts and service for Wysong & Miles woodworking machinery are no longer available.
