In 1874 the company was manufacturing Hornig's patent shear and punch and "general machinery." N. B. Cushing was proprietor. In 1916 this firm made a four-post lathe tool holder specialized for manufacturing shells. The company was apparently in business about 1912 to 1920 doing general machining work.
