From an ad in a 1920 issue of The Wood-Worker which says that the Fader-Taggart Machinery Co. of Chicago is a representative. A paragraph in that same issue, under "Notes and News of the Trade", says, "The plant and interests of The Advance Machinery Co. were purchased at receiver's sale, September 8 [1920] by prominent businessmen of Van Wert, Ohio, who incorporated the concern under the title, The New Advance Machinery Co., capitalized at $100,000. A line of band saws, wood shapers and appliances for animal and vegetable glues will be manufactured. The officers of the new company are: W. H. Dailey, president and general manager; H. M. Gee, vice president and F. W. Fraylick secretary and treasurer.
