"A photo of the smelter in Plessisville Forano where Norbert was killed, struck by a beam in its first week of work. His foreman had asked him to replace someone for a few minutes ... Norbert had reluctantly agreed saying he did not have enough experience. The photo was taken in 1873 when 30 workers were working." |
